It's a bit embarrassing that I didn't realize my middle and last initials could be used to make an AM radio joke until making this account.

(that's definitely my House [and Senate], and not just the funniest image I had on hand downloaded)
There’s a good joke somewhere in this:

I had to write a short story (1000 word) in 6th grade.
I was scared to write women, so all the characters are men.
The story is about Vikings (ofc)… and converting to Catholicism(?)
I didn’t notice the main character has a woman’s name

The realization that their are people I want to see posts from a lot more than the people I follow, and the ensuing self-inflicted confusion on why I’m not following them, is tempered by the fact that they don’t have accounts on this app. And that’s pretty suave.

George Takei is cool, though.

This sounds really impressive until you think a little harder and realize its literally only saying that the three Progressive presidents each went to elite colleges. And not even any of the same ones? And their are a million asterisks about their ascension to the presidency? weird point David Brook

I guess this proves if you read enough NYT articles on people joining a thing, you'll join that thing. Next stop the Cabinet.

I'll leave the great abyss with this New Yorker article I mistakenly used up my last free article with, it's left me pleasantly surprised!

The Big Little Man from Brooklyn
Stanley Clifford Weyman impersonated everyone from a doctor to an official with the U.S. State Department. How did he do it?
