Just for giggles I thought I would try to impress a couple of Irish mates and brew some Guinness. The recipe is nothing complicated but the serving as I discovered, is very specific.

While at CBC festival this year I tasted an award winning lager from the Oyster Boys. Nothing too remarkable other than it was brewed in only two weeks and was crystal clear.

I initially tried different polycarbonate tubes but they were either too flexible or they couldn't withstand boiling temperatures.
