The initial test of the archaeopteryx exhibit I created a few years ago. It required some tricky calculations to align the Pepper's Ghost effect with the fossil cast as intended.

I did this for a carnivore / digitigrade comparison to the horse canter. There’s no diagonal link between fore and hind-limbs so I suspect this is just a slower rotary gallop.

Quadrupeds in games are tricky, here’s the default locomotion set of Bento the dog from Somerville. The gaits are 1 walk, 2 trots and 4 x gallops all with left/right turn and incline/decline variants. #animation #gameanimation #quadrupeds

Demonstration of the difference between a direct inbetween and an inbetween favouring the first pose. All the eye darts take two frames. Ones before the blink are direct inbetweens, favours after. The favours not only appear smoother but have more life to them too. #animation #animation2d
