SO Tatis homered, Merill homered, Sheets and Manny continue to homer new guy Laureano continues to homer and Croney is doing well at his new shortstop position since Xander is injured. We are just one game back and close to post season #Padres couldn't have picked a better time to do this !!!

Damn for their nearly billion dollar pay roll you would think they would be doing a lot better but #Padres are only one game back and may tie for the top spot tonight. The top 3 highest pay roll teams have all been doing pretty poorly lately which goes to show $$ doesn't equal wins.

#Padres just clean sweeped one of the best teams who were on a 7 game win streak! They also ended the sweep in a shut out game with 7 scoreless innings for Darvish! October baseball never looked more exciting! They picked a great time to really start being a problem for others... 👏🏻👏🏻

Can't believe they lost AGAIN 6 straight games! This helps the #Padres close the gap. Would be nice if we had won 6 straight games during their slump but hey at least we are winning some and hopefully tonight's while they are winning NO games....

What have we learned these last two nights? It's going to be a LONG and 😬 two weeks of baseball. If we end up tied for first by the end of the regular season these games will likely determine who wins the division. #Padres #I'm-stressed

LMAO love how the #padres game was delayed twice bc of heavy rain, then both tatis AND our manager got thrown out of the game bc they were upset at shitty play calls but we still managed to win !!

#Padres are 1st in their division, best record in the league, got 3 homers this game all this WITHOUT Merrill who was arguably #ROTY last season and Darvish/Musgrove 2 of our best pitchers. Imagine what happens when they come back? Third times a charm? 2022, 2024 ... 2025 will this be our year?
