Went to the Springsteen film. 'Nebraska' is a haunting album. Seeing the emotional scaffolding behind it - the solitude, the darkness, and quite desperation - make the songs hit harder. A film for the fans.

When viewers see a working-class woman on screen, empathy happens immediately. On the page, where poetry depends on tone and diction, those same realities get read as “rough” or “unpolished.”
