If you're new here, I'm Jacob. I'm a 26 y/o visual artist from the Midwest USA. I utilize printmaking, oil painting, collage, and other mixed media to explore the beauty within the difficult aspects of human existence. I love grime, mistakes, and redefining what we choose to value in society.
Every year my style and interests change so much, it almost feels wrong to date them with the year they were actually completed.
Maybe I'm in the minority here because I work so fast paced and don't usually leave things unfinished for very long. But does anyone else feel that way?

There's something about the WIP pieces that roll over from one year to the next that always bugs me.
When I finally finish them, I often feel compelled to date them with the year I started them.
