I was lucky enough to go to Banditland and write about it. One of the best lacrosse experiences I have ever had.
I wanted to learn what makes the place special. I think I did, but I can't explain it better than the fans who explained it to me. It's just Buffalo.

I’ve been to a lot of sporting events in a lot of different places.

I remember watching Formiga/Pantoja be such an important fight like 15 years ago that it got a Shooto Brazil card streamed on HDNet.
What a wild place the flyweight division was from 2010-2012.
Very cool that Pantoja managed to outlast everyone, make it to the top, and is still here in 2024.
