Interested in many things and always eager to learn new stuff.
I mainly post things from my garden.
I am a very keen bad gardener. 🌱
(Please don't DM me for a chat, I really don't need a 20 year old girlfried.)
My Gaillardia seeds are terminating whilst still on the plant. 🌱

These are "annual" dahlias that I grew from seed, but they seem to have formed pretty good tubers. Are they worth keeping over winter?

Well, my granddaughter's cot is now finished and in place. Probably time to start digging up all the tender plants and putting them in the greenhouse.

I know a lot of people don't like Golden Rod because it spreads so much, but I think it attracts more insects than any other flower. 🌱

I know that many people don't want a political party that puts the needs of the many above the riches of the few, but I do, and it's about time we are given the opportunity to vote for one.

You cannot have too many year's britches. Definitely one of the best plants to outcompete stinging nettles.🌱

How come the greenhouse never seems to empty out?🌱

The bridge over the stream is now almost complete. Just the steps up the far side to go now.🌱

I planted these bulbs in the spring. I should have written down what they are! 🌱
July 1, 2025 at 7:48 PM
Another osteospermum. This one is growing in fairly heavy shade. 🌱

Osteospermmmmmm!🌱

Not a very exclusive flower, but (for me) the gazania is the essence of sunshine solidified. 🌱

These lilies finally started opening today. 🌱

Geranium Versicolor.
I bought this as a bare root in the early spring.
It's now a nice size plant with these gorgeous veined flowers. 🌱

Today I built a stone arch bridge over our stream. 🌱

The last thing I needed to buy when I went shopping was yet another plant, so the last thing I bought was yet another plant!

I think I might need to find a support group to deal with my addiction.🌱

I planted this bed up from bare earth a month ago. I am so pleased that it already looks so established. 🌱

I had an old copper emersion heater that has been sitting around for a couple of years. Today it got sliced up and became the posh centre piece of the new bed I made.🌱
