No idea if this is a genuine audition tape or if this dude is just goofing, but here👇 — Canadian actor Sam Wexler’s laughably bad self-tape for the role of #HeatedRivalry’s Kip — is an object lesson in the pure alchemy of casting and the miracle of the right role finding the right actor to play it.

Update: the kid and his dad played cards for much of the flight and could apparently not have been less interested in #HeatedRivalry or in Skip. (Their loss!) 🤷🏻♂️
Rewatching the Skip episode of #HeatedRivalry on a plane ride back to California. The little boy and his dad sitting to my right don’t seem to have clocked it, but let’s see how awkward this endeavor gets when the 🌶️ scenes arrive, eh? 🥴
