I recently posted about the Belfast Palestinian march. On Threads, I received 1,300 likes, 157 reposts, and 90 comments. Half were supportive, while the rest called me a terrorist, vermin, or brainwashed. A few even suggested bodily harm. But the haters only made up 2.5%. Don't be distracted.

A powerful lecture by Caoilfionn Gallagher KC, highlighting the rising transnational repression of lawyers defending human rights cases. It’s crucial to support and speak out against the increasing demonisation and violence directed at legal professionals #HumanRights @ulsteruniincore.bsky.social

I am happy to see families from all sides reunited and a ceasefire in Gaza (long may it last). However, those who caused and supported a genocide now being seen as peacemakers, while people return to rubble and continue mourning their loved ones, does not sit right with me.
