My journey as a Buddhist and a photographer.
This short film is about my good friend, Bryson “Tendo” Keenan, who had lived many lives as a respected military man, a top tier Karate expert, a family man, and a Zen monk. Sadly, we lost Tendo San this year. It was an honour to know him and to be a friend.

Today, I took my friend, Ashin Htavara, to meet my Zen teacher. Ashin Htavara was one of the leaders of the Saffron Revolution in 2007, who led the mass protest by Buddhist monks in Myanmar. He remains a powerful voice in the fight for democracy and freedom in Myanmar.

Just attended a fantastic photography exhibition by my friend of 20 years, Kazuyoshi Nomachi. This vast exhibition displays a lifetime of world class travel photography, starting in 1972. I highly recommend visiting his exhibition in Setagaya, Tokyo. It is truly extraordinary!
