<div class="field field-field-text"><p data-end="62" data-start="0">Israeli occupation soldiers have issued a new military order to demolish 25 recently built homes in the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm, escalating pressure on Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank.</p>
<p data-end="532" data-start="282">The order, issued on Sunday, prompted an urgent warning from Tulkarm Governor Abdullah Kamil, who appealed to the international community, human rights organisations, diplomatic missions and embassies to intervene immediately to halt the demolitions.</p>
<p data-end="891" data-start="534">Kamil said the decision reflects “a continuation of Israeli arrogance and the occupation’s crimes against our people in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps,” describing it as part of a broader, systematic campaign of destruction targeting civilians and their property. He warned the measures were driving the forced displacement of Palestinians from both camps.</p>
<p data-end="1225" data-start="893">He added that the demolitions amount to a “flagrant violation of international law, international norms and conventions, human rights laws and international humanitarian law,” renewing calls for immediate action to stop what he described as ongoing aggression across the Tulkarm Governorate, including its camps, villages and towns.</p>
<p data-end="1443" data-is-last-node data-is-only-node data-start="1227">Israel routinely uses military orders and planning regulations to justify home demolitions in the occupied West Bank, a practice widely condemned by rights groups as collective punishment and a tool of dispossession.</p>

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Unicef said on Tuesday that Israel is blocking essential items, including 1.6 million syringes and solar-powered fridges used to store vaccine vials, from entering Gaza.</p>
<p>The warning comes as Unicef works to carry out a mass child vaccination campaign under the fragile ceasefire, which Israel has violated 282 times since October.</p>
<p>The syringes, along with bottles for baby formula, have been awaiting customs clearance since August, leaving thousands of children at risk as health services in the besieged Strip remain shattered after two years of Israel’s genocide.</p>

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Mahmoud Khalil, the 30-year-old Columbia University student who was the first and most well-known immigration detainee in the US for his pro-Palestine views, has now sued the Trump administration for $20m in damages for the harm done to his reputation and livelihood.</p>
<p>Khalil was held in detention, in a room with 70 other men, for more than three months, in what he described as very difficult conditions. He was released on bail after a federal judge ruled last month that the government had not proven its case to justify keeping him detained. </p>
<p>His deportation case is ongoing. </p>
