Thought the Gabriel Jesus offside this weekend should have been a penalty. I am of the opinion, as it is both logical and more easy to officiate, that it should be feet on your own half that dictates that, not body.

Important game on Thursday. If we just win at Brentford, the narrative dies almost immediately again. Just play our own games and it will be fine.

That City win can go two ways: it’s a chip on their shoulders that gives them a few percent extra, or it masks their real quality for a few weeks and there is nothing really changed.

City were quite poor yet again. If they play like that every week they are going to lose more points soon.

Bernardo. Always. Bruno is mostly a whiner, Bernardo is a very sneaky in the shadows sort of dude.

I thought that game was refereed like shit. But that is just incredibly dumb from Allison. Can’t believe they didn’t give that Salah penalty earlier. Definitely a penalty too.
February 8, 2026 at 6:23 PM
Liverpool are useless. Such idiots. How do you lose this game.
February 8, 2026 at 6:21 PM
Wow. What a hit. Unreal.
February 8, 2026 at 6:03 PM
Liverpool have actually been pretty good in this second half and should be up 1 or 2. So City will probably steal it later on.
February 8, 2026 at 6:02 PM
I think it’s really close but it’s not a wrong decision, at least. After the replay I can live with it. I do think Salah does always get a massive chance out if it which is why I lean red still.
February 8, 2026 at 6:00 PM
That’s a red. Come on man.

Wonder what the post shot xG is for Liverpool. Can’t be great.
February 8, 2026 at 5:55 PM
Jesus Ekitike. That should be 1-0.
February 8, 2026 at 5:45 PM
With the caveat that Havertz’ main issue is being clinical, not being an impact on the game.
February 8, 2026 at 10:48 AM
Agreed, you put it nicely! The only two forwards that can really handle all game state situations in my opinion are Havertz to a large extent and of course Saka. The rest are good in various ways, but flawed in others.

I also wasn’t a fan of selling him. He is quite unique as a player as well, has some inherent qualities that are very hard to replace. The work rate, of course, but also the sheer speed, the movement in central areas, just a lot of stuff you can’t really teach.
February 8, 2026 at 10:31 AM
Couldn’t watch, happy to see were 2-0 up!
February 7, 2026 at 4:37 PM
They’ve been really decent overall since they’ve adapted too their early struggles.

Why the fuck is Mariah Carey singing Pinto di Blu?
February 6, 2026 at 7:18 PM
It’s all fine if they get the pick, essentially, but if they lose it, they lost the chance to do both (would probably not be Zubac but another market opportunity down the line).
February 6, 2026 at 4:05 PM
If you pick the right prospect, you have someone that can contribute right away on a reasonable salary, and the possibilty to add to that. I’d prefer to secure the prospect first and then see what cards are dealt. Pritchard clearly did it the other way round and now runs the risk of losing a pick.
February 6, 2026 at 4:05 PM
I get that. I think they were really good. I also wonder if it was a little bit of a perfect storm moment for a team that is really, really good but definitely not repeated perennial championship contender. So that’s why I am looking at it from the other side and saying: what can they do to elevate?
February 6, 2026 at 4:05 PM
Agreed. I am a bag of nerves until they actually do!
February 6, 2026 at 1:35 PM
First. Need to win ourselves. I have Liverpool-City expectations and analysis but I’m almost doubting if I even talk about that game. It doesn’t mean a lot if we don’t win.
February 6, 2026 at 1:04 PM
His contract is fantastic, yes, but there comes a point you have to look at the overall ceiling of a team and say, we probably need more top end talent, even though we’re good.
