I’m sad to share the news that my mom Carolyn passed away on Tuesday. I’m glad I was able to tell her goodbye. I am taking a break from professional activities to focus on celebrating her life and thinking about this new chapter of mine. Thanks for any thoughts and prayers.

The House Budget Resolution will only further weaken our fiscal response to the real crises of today like racial inequality. This only sets up a scenario where tax cuts for the wealthy are prioritized over tax policies that could reduce the racial wealth gap. These tax ideas are harmful to everyone.
