While I understand the distress of Amess's daughter, I also feel that, given her father's own party in gov't refused an inquiry twice, to zero coverage, there is something performative about hiring a PR agency to attack a Labour gov't of 7 months for "a cover-up". It pushes hard against my sympathy.
