Spoiler alert: When top officials have to start saying in an agency’s defense “no, no, no, that’s a totally legitimate law enforcement agency,” they have already lost and it is, in fact, no longer a legitimate law enforcement agency.

The boat strikes weren’t just a cover for the buildup of an attack force against Venezuela. They were about normalizing Trump’s ability to carry out extrajudicial executions and the intent was always to extend that doctrine domestically. He wants the power to smite anyone who displeases him.

It’s hard to put into perspective how truly massive the warehouse is that was recently sold by the Rockefeller Group to the Department of Homeland Security for $70 million to build a concentration camp in Surprise, AZ. Across the street is a huge neighborhood and a school. It’s 400,000-square-feet.
