THEY DIDNT GIVE SGA FTS AND CARUSO GOT CALLED FOR A FOUL!!!!!
June 12, 2025 at 2:31 AM
The Pacers should get to elect one defender who can’t be called for fouls to make it even for what Caruso is allowed to do on defense.

66 points in 48 second-half possessions — a scorching 137.5 2H offensive rating. 10-for-20 from 3. Quicker attacks, fewer attempted thread-the-needle bounce passes in traffic, more decisive punishing of OKC's small-ball, and more trademark hellacious shot-making. Brilliant.
Pacers offense by quarter, per @inpredict.bsky.social: stats.inpredictable.com/nba/wpBox_li...

1Q: 0.74 points per possession
2Q: 0.86
3Q: 1.29 (won the quarter 31-28)

Thunder need to relocate the clamps, pronto.

KP not getting nearly enough credit. Built a Finals team nobody thought was this good, mostly pulling from the island of misfit toys. What vision.

With a one-point lead and 20 seconds left to play in OT, the Pacers went to a SLOB play that ended up spacing both of their stars out to the logo to create an empty-side 3v3 opportunity for their role players.

What a cool team.

Nembhard forcing the final turnover on a routine swing pass. He is unreal.

The Ty shovel pass to Nembhard with 27 sec left 👨‍🍳💋

Can’t believe the Knicks didn’t pressure the Pacers at all in the backcourt with 7 sec left. Just gave Ty an open runway to get into whatever he wanted.

Huge play with 3:20 left. Ben Sheppard one-hand bats a pass from Siakam out to Obi for a three. Obi misses but it goes out of bounds for one of Nesmith’s threes.

Nesmith's tip dunk on the free throw and hustle to get in Mitchell's face to draw the offensive foul; *another* Nembhard steal of a late-game inbounds to give them a chance to tie; Haliburton with eight in the final 1:24, including *another* dagger. Clutch monsters, the Pacers.
Tyrese Haliburton misses the free throw but Tyrese Haliburton wins the game.

Pacers scored 160 points on 101 possessions (158.8 per 100) in Washington tonight.

That's the most efficient offensive performance in any game in more than 27 years, since the Clippers scored 152 on 94 (161.7 per 100) vs. Toronto on Mar. 13, 1998.

Those are 1 & 2 in the 29 seasons of pbp data.

What a freaking win for the Pacers!! Down 4 starters. 5th starter ejected. 6th man fouls out. Another injured. Still pull out the road win against a team on an 8 game win streak.
