The follower number went up to 8 some months ago, but when I click on the follower list I only see 2.

Blender dropped OpenCL support in 2021, so the GPU was only 4 years old by then...
They thought the newer HIP would add support for older graphics cards, but no.

Apparently my RX480 graphics card is old and I can't use it on Blender as a rendering device.

I find it weird that people here don't have stuff pinned on their profiles as often as in the fediverse. Makes it harder to find new interesting people.
I guess people are used to the way the twitter algorithm chooses important posts of profile feeds for them, but that's not a thing on bluesky.

Apparently the language settings don't synchronize between devices, and my phone was set to show me stuff only in Spanish for some reason. So it didn't really know what to recommend me.

I hate algorithms. I only liked posts related to Vtubers, VR or science. I never liked any post in Spanish, about politics, or with random guys without a t-shirt, yet that's 90% of my Discover TL.

Yeah I've been using HeliBoard for more than a year and I'm quite happy. The only complaint I have about it is that I still need Gboard for Japanese.

In VR, this world was like 1fps on Linux, and it ended up crashing. Now I can drive the GTR without a problem. I can't run the game at like, 90fps, but now I can play at least, so I'm quite happy.

It's quite funny to see how those unoptimized worlds eat memory for breakfast. Some of them are avatar worlds that only show avatar thumbnails, but for some reason all of the models are loaded into VRAM even if you can't see the actual models.

Some worlds that would run at like 3fps because they didn't fit on the 4GB VRAM, are now running at 30fps. Which is playabe, at least.
I wasn't sure if should have bought a 4GB GTX980 instead, but now I know that I made the right decision, after watching how those worlds eat 7GB of VRAM lol

I made a small upgrade because my RX470 was dying, and bought a second hand RX480.
There is supposed to be only 10% of difference in performance between those two, but I also upgraded from 4GB of VRAM to 8GB, and that really made a difference in VRChat.

When I play board games with friends, they usually read first the instructions aloud, but I don't actually learn until we play the first game.

Something interesting is that I would love to make a new streaming platform. I kinda have the know-how (I've coded video streaming apps and have an idea of how everything works), and I've got ideas that could bring something new to the scene. But that's a big project for me alone
