I was chatting with @sandyhorne.bsky.social about how patient you have to be to get a glimpse of an Australian Reed Warbler. Our visit to Rocks Reserve turned that theory on its head. They were in the reeds and in the trees. I even got 2 in the same shot. #birds

I’m not a dragonfly expert but a quick google search tells me this is a Tau Emerald Dragonfly at Jenkins Scrub Walking Trail, Mountain Crawford,SA. #notabird

Our resident Willie Wagtails have built their new nest. I’m always amazed at the hours of effort needed to create this little cup from grass and spider web. In a couple of weeks there’ll be 2 or 3 little ones crammed in there.
