Young white college boys creating keywords to censor and control our highest levels of scientific research.
The word "systemic" is on the banned list, so if I study systemic inflammation & health, flagged. If I study political science, flagged. If I study trauma, flagged. Keep in mind that the largest mental health provider in the country is the Veteran's Administration, but we can't study trauma now?

Thank you.
“Once you decide that a single vulnerable minority can be sacrificed, you’re operating within a fascist logic,” they said. “That means there might be a second one you’re willing to sacrifice and a third, a fourth. Then what happens?”
Abandoning trans people is 'fascist logic', says leading feminist philosopher
Leading feminist philosopher Judith Butler has declared that abandoning trans people or any minority is operating within 'fascist logic'.

Re: Idea the election was rigged. Unlikely given the current popularity stats. In the context of current income disparity and inflation, it makes sense that ~50% of the voters voted for him & also voted blue downballot. Add scary fast social change--white patriarchy was threatened. We're bifurcated.

"Think of the fed. govt. as a car. You might have thought the election was like getting [it] serviced. Instead, ...the mechanics...tell you they have taken the parts of your car that work & sold them & kept the money. And that this was the most efficient thing to do. And that you should thank them."

Why is Elon Musk illegally downloading federal databases?
His staff encountered resistance when demanding that Treasury officials grant access to systems managing the flow of more than $6 trillion annually to programs like Social Security and Medicare.

Guy from NTSB is so measured and concerned above all with truth/facts. Very comforting.

"Donald Trump has always fantasized about a deep state... that opposes him, something that didn’t exist. Now, he is well on the way to creating one. It turns out federal employees take their oath, their job, and their duty to serve very seriously." joycevance.substack.com/p/how-to-pus...

There is a reason Trump is afraid of the federal bureaucracy, the career civil servants he wants to replace.

Donald Trump has a long history of boosting false and disproven claims in the aftermath of terrorist attacks, a national pandemic, police brutality, and natural disasters.

@juliannemcshane.bsky.social takes a look back at the president's tortured record of making tragedies much worse:
How Trump makes tragedies worse, a history
The president blaming DEI for a deadly plane crash is not the first time he's peddled conspiracy theories as the nation reels from a crisis.

This is the most detailed info I've seen yet on any given federal agency's actual activities over the past 11 days. Chilling last paragraph.

Wasn't familiar with ordo amoris but found this nice description. It makes sense to me (whether you are pagan or monotheistic or agnostic or even atheist). But I think it would dictate that you feed the stranger first if it's between kin/community and non-kin/foreigners/enemies.
