Happy 5 years to Legends of Runeterra. Today I accepted a role as a TCG Developer (not on LoR) thanks largely to the experience I gained during my time with LoR, which was one of the best of my life. Thank you to the LoR team for everything you've done for me and millions of others

I'm pulling some data for a sort of competitive year end wrap up, and something jumped out at me about Worlds
Respect Your Elder and Inquisitor Mordekaiser were the 2 most brought decks, each brought by over half the field. But here's the shard by shard breakdown on them

At the end of my 4th year of casting, I've hit the ceiling in LoR. I did every single event this year as well as the Worlds finals, so I can't really improve year to year in a tangible sense anymore. Not really sure what that means for me yet.

If Riot stuck with the original plan of 18 global point leaders not tied to any specific shard going to Worlds, only 2 AM players would have made it.
We currently have a 3 way tie for 3rd at 33 points, which would be tied for 10th in EMEA and a solid 12th in APAC.

Reddit post is up. Now that Eternal is done I can conjure up some cool stats for the year but likely won't have time until after the LCQ. Here's some cool facts + this is Vlads first top this year. I think the only champs without a top 64 this year are Soraka, Tahm, and Hecarim

Eternal stats are all over the place (every deck has multiple champ splits or versions) so I've gotta sorta wing Tournament Tactician by feel so I've been playing more ladder and I have a theory but if I'm right then there's really not much I can help people with this time around

I forgot the LCQ was open entry so I have to become an Eternal expert in ~48 hours to make Tournament Tactician then wait till after the event for people to be back on standard so I can become an expert in 48 hours again to shoot TT cause looking at standard rn y'all really let LURK hit #1 🤮

I started this year off with a single, very simple forearm tattoo that I got in like 2017 and I very much felt like the guy who Always Talks About Getting More But Never Does so I may have gone a little hard (classic blvd) and this year I got 7. Todays my 8th and its on my knee, fkin pray for me

I usually don't play too much LoR going into an Open so I don't get Pilot Brain and focus on the meta too hard from the lens of what I've been playing/other subjective factors. This time I played a lot the last week, climbed up to ~350lp and am gonna see how the analysis goes

I'm gonna start screaming about good decks again soon, and if you're still iffy on what I mean by that its usually stuff that can crank the bullshit meter to 10. It's my ability to say "nice carefully crafted counter. Anyway here's 8 damage on turn 2"

Made a video yelling about the meta. Mostly that as it stands Janna/Nilah does not look good for events, Frostbite Midrange isn't the best Midrange deck with Frostbite, Kayn/Aatrox sucks (but Kayn doesn't), What Happened To All The Varus Hype, and more
