Never in the history of our economy have tariffs lead to prosperity, rather it has always lead to recession/depression. I fear we are getting there very soon and our politicians, who should know better, are squandering any chance to change course.

I know Trumpers need to learn a hard lesson with everything snowballing economically, but it is going to be a long hard climb back for this country. It totally sucks we have to experience this, but we will need to be ready to pick up the pieces and start rebuilding when the time comes.
