After doing the command line trick to disable the need for a MicroSoft account, I put the Linux Mint Mate ISO on a stick formatted with Ventoy, then went into BIOS, disabled Secure Boot, changed the Boot order so it's USB first, then the SSD. Bam, now mum has options!!

I often comment that I may not be tall, fit, rich or have long hair, but at least I can last a while in bed. Well, the other day that didn't happen. But at least I made her come about four times before coitus, so at least there's that.
