Day 03 of me missing to register for this year’s 30:30 #artquest challenge - but doing it anyway 😆 A watercolour of Smithfield tower in #Dublin city. Need to be more careful of wet in wet watercolours when setting a challenge of about 30 minutes. #art #painting

Day 02 of the #artquest challenge I forgot to sign up to. De used on using a mirror and trying a watercolour #selfportrait Not too bad in places. Really love the blue and red contrast. I painted on the back of Day 01’s hand so the paper is suffering quite a bit from the water. #art #painting

OK. So, I forgot to register in time for this year’s #artquest but my plan was to experiment with watercolours for 30 days so here I go. Day 01 watercolour of my left hand. I really enjoyed it and loved the high contrast and colour hues of the cheaper watercolours too. #art #painting

(And I’ve caught up again)

Used a black Uni Pin fine line ink pen ( 0.3mm)
(Day behind again)
October 30, 2025 at 4:37 PM
#inktober2025 Day 28 and the theme was “Skeletal.” Nearly everything hangs on and off a skeletal structure - much like the layout of a city

#inktober2025 Day 16 and the theme was “Blunder.” I made it into a drawing of a cypher or a word game with different letters on tumblers. Amazing how it was possible to interchange the “u” with every other vowel.

(Only 1 day behind now)

#inktober2025 Day 15 and the theme was “Ragged.” This time I took the theme and used it as an influence on my drawing style - so I held the pen at the very end for less control and scratched out a freehand sketch.
Used a black Uni Pin fine line ink pen (0.8mm).
