2 days ago I calibrated my lens to fix a back focusing issue, and yesterday I field tested the change. The adjustment was successful, and I was rewarded with a fly-by of an #eagle that had just gone fishing, in time for today's #BirdOfTheDay theme of #BirdsInFlight.

Here's a photo that probably shouldn't work because the #bird is so far away (maybe best viewed on a larger screen), but I really like the way the feathers of the #CedarWaxwing stand out against the blue of the sky.

I know I've shared at least one of these images before, but the sequence fits nicely with todays #BirdOfTheDay theme of #FoodFinds. A gull circles the rocks and eventually lands with a crab in its bill.
