The Dumas there is the father of Alexandre Dumas, who was of 1/4 Afro-Carribean ancestry (his grandmother was enslaved by his grandfather); Thomas-Alexandre was able to secure the liberty of her and his two half sisters

Our saber class looks at both the light classical saber (pre-electric scoring sport fencing) and heavier dueling saber meant for old fashion duels.
