“… the expanded World Cup draw – the 48 teams in this edition, up from 32 last time – means there is room for plucky teams with little chance of winning the trophy, such as Haiti, Curaçao, Cape Verde and England.” 😂 from @theguardian.com

The sort of thing that drove me mad when he played for us…
Typical Aubameyang. Misses two great chances in the first half, including an "unmissable" header, then scores a jaw-dropper, curling the ball in from an acute angle. That's Aubame for you.

Ooh, Norway in pot 3. That’s going to be annoying for someone

'The first Fifa Peace Prize will also be awarded by the organisation's president, Gianni Infantino, on the day of the draw.' Yes, it's really, really important to mention that 🙄 www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

Trossard really seems to have upped his game this season 👍🏻

Er... why has BBC Sport decided that we should all be interested in the twilight years of Jonjo Shelvey's career? Could it be because his views on the capital coincide with those of far-right conspiracy theorists, perhaps? 'You can't have your phone out in London?' Come on, Jonjo. Get real.

Madueke is out for two months. Of course he is.

No mention of the fact he was out injured from Feb!

2nd is OK. Tough season, injuries & refs have had a big impact. Some players underperformed. Getting to CL semi-final was decent. We're still some distance from being able to win the competitions we want to win though, & disappointing that we couldn't take advantage of Man C's collapse (cf 2015/16)

That banner didn’t even look like Arteta 🤔

Arsenal have now drawn more games than anyone else in the league except Everton. How on earth are we still 2nd? #afc #Arsenal

No, that was not something to be celebrated. They’re just wankers.

I didn’t have ‘let Dembele do whatever he wants’ on my Arsenal tactics bingo card this evening 😞 #ARSPSG

We started sloppily in the first leg vs Real but got away with it. Not this time. #ARSPSG

Dang it (as my daughter is fond of saying). We seemed nervous in the first half. Diani had far too much time and space for the opener. We huffed and puffed in the second half but only had a VAR penalty to show for it. That was scored, but Lyon's rapid response was clinical. 2nd leg will be tough.
Off to the Emirates again tomorrow to watch Arsenal Women. Last time we went, they won 4-0. Fingers crossed!

#OTD in 1979, #Arsenal beat Southampton 2-0 in an FA Cup sixth round replay on their way to winning the trophy. Both goals were scored by Alan Sunderland, who also scored in the semi-final and final. He got 6 in total in the cup run (as did Stapleton). The second one is a stunner! cutt.ly/FroSyodj

Harry Kane was on the radio. He sounds more like a comedian doing an impression of Harry Kane every time I hear him...
