The new 52 version of the #DCAU was absolutely amazing. Starting with Flashpoint and ending with Apokolips War (especially Apokolips War) were something else. @jamesgunn.bsky.social if your movie universe is this entertaining, it will be spectacular.

If you are the only country who can make something that the USA requires and "must have", why would the tariffs mean anything to you? I accept that you will sell less of that item to that country, but surely other countries would pick up the slack which is to your benefit as you diversify?

So I was watching a Youtube clip. Donald Trump came out and said I could send a letter to Japan and then gave the salutation, "Dear Mr Japan". This both made me laugh my ass off and scared me beyond comprehension.

Picked up a PS5 today, as a "next generation" console I'm not feeling it. There isn't really anything here thus far making me feel like there's enough of a jump like I did from PS2-PS3 or PS3-PS4.

Picked up Mario 3D Allstars on the Switch yesterday. The price is a bit high in my opinion but hopefully its a decent collection of games!

Yesterday I completed the first phase of my replacement for MongoDB Realm. Realm is being deprecated in September so I need something that I can use going forward with dotnet. Iteration 1 is to have a static mapping which allows me to send data back and forth from the live database to my app.

Got a 3 month trial for Apple TV. Pretty much got it for #Severance season 2 but started watching a show called "Criminal Record". Absolutely fantastic. Why do more people not know about this (or am I in a minority here?!)

Giving a liar the benefit of the doubt which is what so many outlets did when Trump said he knew nothing of project 2025 and then started enacting its policies once sworn in and not holding him to account feels a little ...... off.

Determined to mod my first console this year, I've already done plug and play modding with the GC Loader for gamecube but want to try and accomplish some decent stuff with a Dreamcast.

This year I aim to learn a lot of elements of the dotnet ecosystem I struggle with and/or don't understand. I may not be a developer anymore but never know when I may need to write another app or help people out.

Seeing loads of hate over the new Superman trailer and I have no idea why. This is simply another interpretation of a character that has been around so long. If you don't like this one there is likely one of the shows/movies you like so enjoy that. I try and enjoy a character in any interpretation

1400 original games now catalogued with probably another 30 to go, on my way to 1500. Have every Sega/Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft console (except PS5/Xbox Series X/S, Virtua Boy and Sega 32x) now so the collection is slowing down. Really proud of what I've managed to collect so far!

My 2 week break begins in about 30 minutes. Happy xmas / holidays everyone. I hope its full of happiness for everyone (even though I'll still be online every day)

The #CinemaSnob should definitely make his way to this platform. I can highly recommend his videos. Some of the #PureFlix reviews are amazing and very tongue in cheek but he clearly has an affinity for these people which is lovely to see too
