Last Friday at Lorcana I won 2 out of the 3 games. They made sure I didn’t win anymore. This Friday I was able to win 1 out of the 2 games. I built a new deck with mostly location cards. Played it 1v1 & lost but it didn’t do too bad. @psypher1000.lorcana.community didn’t run away with the win.

Can’t walk my dog right away in the morning because I have an appointment. He isn’t happy with me. I’ll walk him when I get home but he doesn’t understand that.

A few of us made plans to go see The Housemaid on Tuesday. We all read the book so it’ll be interesting to see the movie’s version. I’ll be eating popcorn!

I played mahjong today (2nd time) & I won! We played 3 games & I won the 2nd game. The hardest part is to decide what hand to go after. There’s 72 possible hands you can win with & it’s hard to pick which one.

I’m reading Everybody is Lying to You by Jo Piazza for one of my book clubs. I like it. I started it this morning & I’m almost done. My friend, who’s in the same book club, said she was bored to tears. I’ve found the book very interesting. It may be because I’m struggling with Wuthering Heights.

I’m reading Everybody is Lying to You by Jo Piazza for one of my book clubs. I like it. I started it this morning & I’m almost done. My friend, who’s in the same book club, said she was bored to tears. I’ve found the book very interesting. It may be because I’m struggling with Wuthering Heights.
Malcolm & I were out for our morning walk & saw River & her owner. We decided to join them. There was playing at first & then they walked well together.

Today my friend came over to make jewelry. I made a Suns necklace to go with the bracelet I made previously. They play tonight so hopefully they get another win!

I never thought that I would come to love our new dog, Malcolm, as much as I have. Losing both our previous dogs was very hard. Malcolm makes me very happy & glad he’s around to keep me company.

Last night Malcolm was growling at something. At first I thought he brought something inside but there was nothing. So I looked outside to see if it was a cat or something else. What I saw was a ball. Our neighbors threw one in our yard & Mal didn’t want it there. Danger! Abnormal object.

I’ve been losing at our Lorcana leagues. I need to tweak one of my decks & build a core one. Need to make time to do this.

River & Malcolm reunited after a long break. Owners were sick & River was fixed so there weren’t any play dates made for a long time. Time didn’t faze them at all. They were playing like old times. River will be bigger than him so it’ll be interesting to see how he reacts when she is.

Watched a FB reel on historical fiction books by Kris & Mads (sisters). Some of them I had either read or owned them. Bad part is I added to my every growing list of TBR books. I try to avoid reviews but it just happens & I can’t be stopped from adding them to my list.

Today on my walk with my dog, Malcolm, we say ducks in the reservoir. It’s a city owned property where they put reclaimed water back into the water table. First time I saw ducks swimming around.

Tonight at Friday Lorcana league I played @psypher1000.lorcana.community 1v1 & won. Then we played 2 - 4 player games. I won the 1st one because I was able to draw A Pirate’s Life that gave me the 2 lore I needed for the win.

This is my next project. I need to paint the back & then of course the letters & the light bulbs. I think it’ll end up being a cute sign.

Finished painting a Halloween box for a friend. My friend requested pink & gold colors as she’s going to gift it to her friend. I think it turned out good. It’d been a while since I’d painted something & I’d like to get back into it.

Today on my walk with my dog, we saw a coyote jogging across the parking lot of our community pool. We turned around & got some distance from it. My initial reaction was there’s a big dog loose then it was that’s a coyote!

Last night at Monday Lorcana league I won both games I played. 1st was 4 players & the 2nd was 5 players. The 1st game I wasn’t a threat right away & the two that were got taken care of quickly. My deck did good that night especially when I didn’t think I could win the 1st game.

I went to my local library sale & got some books for me, my family & my friend. It was a good haul!
