WWC 26' Volunteer Sign Up
Women Who Count 2026 planning is officially underway. WWC is the largest annual fundraiser for the AFWA Foundation, and we run it with a volunteer team of talented members who want to contribute, lead, and make a real impact.
In 2026, we are simplifying the structure. We are only selecting Committee Chairs at this time. No Vice Chairs. Chairs will fully own their committee’s work from planning through onsite execution.
Chairs receive:
• Free WWC 2026 conference registration
• Free lodging from October 20–24
• Up to $500 in flight reimbursement
(Provided the full commitment is met from March through October.)
REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL CHAIRS
• Must be a current AFWA member
• Commit 5 to 10 hours per month
• Attend monthly Round Up calls (March through October)
• Cannot miss more than two Round Up calls
• Must be available onsite October 20–24
• Must remain responsive on Slack
• Must maintain all documents in Google Drive
• Must use the project management tool (will be provided)
• Must oversee and manage their volunteers
• Must maintain your committee’s budget
• Must assign a backup from your committee if you are unavailable
• Must adhere to all deadlines and deliverables
• Chairs lead decision-making for their committee
• Chairs build their own committee; AFWA will help recruit volunteers upon request
