I wonder if sentence diagramming could be started earlier. I used to love doing it when I was a kid. It made sense of where a word should be to me. And it made it fun because it "looked" like something, like a tree skeleton for words.

Great coverage of Louisiana’s rise from 50th in the nation on reading to 16th.

Curriculum improvement is a key pillar. Science of Reading training was added more recently, and seems to have been an accelerant.
