What a fucking shit move to make there was absolutely no reason to make it so they both missed such a big event????????? And make it a shit night for him, ruining his life long dream??????

Out of curiosity a few weeks ago I looked up the ao3 tab for HIMYM and was a little surprised by many Ted/Barney fics there were.
Rewatching the series again with this in mind? Oh my god yeah they’re so shippable, the show is begging for people to ship them.
