Watching the livestream of Finnish parliament discussing the situation in Gaza and it is very telling that some of our elected officials saw fit not to attend the session. In large numbers might I add.
I am ashamed to see my countrymen continue to be this spineless in the face of these atrocities.

I finally decided to take the plunge and leave the sinking ship that is Goodreads. Sure I will lose my reading stats for the years I've had it, but I am not about to fuss around with importing and exporting.
Moved this year's reads over to Storygraph, will do the same for anticipated reads.

I have conflicting feelings about Mickey 17. While it is an interesting project critiquing capitalism and fascism and Robert Pattinson was pretty damn fantastic in the lead role, the writing of female characters was quite tired. And the way they included queer rep was...a choice.
