It's been my retirement dream forever to acquire a small RV and travel all over the country, but greening it up is becoming a much higher priority to me. Not a lot of non-DIY options yet for electric or alt-fuel Class B rigs, but I am always on the lookout.

I went to see my sister over the holidays and I am pleased to report that she's found herself a Pretty Nice Place and I'll be visiting frequently in Sin City 🎲

I am heading down to San Diego next month & had train tickets booked (always looking for alternatives to driving) but Amtrak cancelled all trains on one of my travel days & is not providing alternates. Oh well, maybe next time! Too bad, I like taking the train 🚆

Today is the first Thanksgiving Day in I don't know how many years that I have no responsibilities. My mother passed in July, so I won't be taking dinner to her. (Prior to her mobility issues, I'd drive us to a nice restaurant with my aunt, who is also now passed.) Purposeful quiet day for me today.

Planning the next Great National Park Roadtrip With Friends™ for next summer, to Yellowstone. It was selected on the basis of (1) we had such a fabulous time on our trip to Denali, and (2) they have never been to Yellowstone, and want to see it. I have, but only for a handful of days. Gonna be fun!
