The more I play Daggerheart, the more it unlocks something in me. It really does make telling interesting stories easy and exciting, but you have to give up control and give it to the dice and other people around the table. You have to just go with the flow, and that takes some getting used to!

I have noticed in Chris Perkins' APs, he designs a full environment as a giant 'escape room' for the session! Players explore points of interest, triggering puzzles, NPCs, or fights. It’s incredibly immersive, BUT it does require alot of prep. Perfect for DMs who love big set pieces! #dnd #ttrpg

Okay I have to start using visual hazards more in my DnD battlemaps! They add so much tension! Bridges, lava, or any dangers that make players rethink moves & get creative—dodging hazards, throwing enemies into them, or using spells to exploit the terrain adds so much depth to D&D combat!
