thanks @diegoarguello.bsky.social for inviting me to write a bit about 1000xresist, which may well be the game that defined my 2024... this year i straight up didn't play anything new until june. i thought games were over for me. and then i played 1000xresist and was like ok now i like games again

now that i am ~30 hours into dragon age veilguard i can say that i think it is quite a good bioware RPG, among the better ones they've made, and the pacing issues go away after the first 10 hours (which in itself is also a pacing issue)

my main problem with bluesky so far is that nobody on here is so terminally obsessed with anything that they'd post about it 20 times a day. i will happily step up to the plate though if there is a vacancy.
