Been an kickass week for Pokemon Go and I'm so stoked to have these two (dusk mane / dawn wings) added to the collection. Getting a background for one certainly doesn't hurt!

Absolutely wicked that WoW (writers*) ruined Sylvanas Windrunner only to turn around and just bring out a sister who's basically the exact same but less breathy to be the same character. I'm playing through War Within as a path to midnight but man it's a stinky thread to be walking alongside.

I absolutely adored Del Toro's version of Frankenstein. What an absolutely gorgeous film with his ol' staple; every human is flawed and bad but the Monster? The monster is hot and kind and pure.

Terra Nil from @freelives.bsky.social has been an absolute gem and one of my favorite puzzle games within memory. I'm so glad they added another continent and I get to relish in hitting 100% restoration all over again. Such a perfect mix of engaging design and relaxing content!

Wednesdays rule. Went out to the raid hour for Pokemon Go and got me the Necrozmas/energy for Dusk Mane, then went to fight practice for a few hours until we all got too wet from the rain for weapons to still be safe. I'm so tired but sooooo satisfied!

Catching up on WoW and not having played since early Battle for Azeroth: man it's wild that these three expansions exist to me in a narrative sense. It feels like I skipped 6 years of filler for War Within to finally be getting back to the main thread of things.

Sometimes I forget just how malleable the feel of a moment can be but listening through a Florence and the Machine album with my big ol' headphones is such a good reminder. Immersing myself in her voice and these compositions is like tinting the ethereal threads of existence for a while.

Newer Alkaline Trio rips; that said I always giggle a little when one of Skiba's songs includes a little love stanza to spy planes again. Opening of Bleeding Out like tell me you aren't singing about a plane again, but at the same time don't let me stop you cause it's working!

Pokemon PLZA hit my personal benchmark last night so I'm stoked. FInished the main storyline quest at like 48 hours of play time, and I'm less than 5 away from completing my dex and mega dex. Feeling solid in how much I've gotten out of a playthrough is making me excited for that expansion.

It's incredible how telegraphed the story is, at the end of Water 7 (ep 316) Shanks and Whitebeard talking is crazy. Shanks alluding to Blackbeard's importance in the upcoming conflict and his "bet on a new era" with his arm. Decades later and it makes perfect sense.

Elected socialist, Cheney's dead, killed a minor Bad Guy in D&D, danced at the Party at the Ballot Box dropping off my vote, and brought it all together with opening a bottle of 2020 Loganberry wine made by a dear friend in our old home. It's been one hell of a day!
