Salix: clean chemical smells, broadly, as well as gin, fennel, sage, evergreens, that earthy "spring" smell, blood and red game meats
Solar: citrus, particularly oranges, warm, baking type spices and sweet/spicy sauces, just in general, honey, smoke, tiger balm, and sweat.

Solar is pretty familiar with a lot of cultures' eating etiquette, but only follows them selectively
he doesn't go out of his way to disobey etiquette expectations, but if following them will make eating less enjoyable for him (and he doesn't think he'll be shunned for it) then yeah, fuck it.
