If I save a $0.15 on every litre of gas I buy with the demise of the carbon tax I will on the outside save $250 in a year. I was getting almost that much quarterly in rebates. Oh thank heavens they have saved me from the villainy of the carbon tax.

On Bluesky and Substack, I see the word ‘fascist’ used in so many posts about the Trump admin. I don’t think that kind is getting anywhere with the people. Why don’t we use the specific words that describe a given situation: cruel, destructive, unconstitutional, etc.
