The Bodleian Humanities Library, part of @bodleianlibraries, covering English, Music, Philosophy, Theology, Film Studies, History of Medicine, and Internet Studies
The Bodleian Library is the main research library of the University of Oxford. Founded in 1602 by Sir Thomas Bodley, it is one of the oldest libraries in Europe. With over 13 million printed items, it is the second-largest library in Britain after the British Library. Under the Legal Deposit Libraries Act 2003, it is one of six legal deposit libraries for works published in the United Kingdom, and under Irish law it is entitled to request a copy of each book published in the Republic of Ireland. Known to Oxford scholars as "Bodley" or "the Bod", it operates principally as a reference library and, in general, documents may not be removed from the reading rooms. .. more

It's ready and waiting for you during library staffed opening hours (9am-9pm). Travel between the 1st and 2nd floor uses the lift buttons, but if you’re going from the ground floor to the 1st or 2nd, tap your card on the card reader to call the lift.

Books that live in our Bodleian Offsite Storage can be ordered in to the library through SOLO!
Once they arrive, you can find them in our Self-Collect area! Library use only items have red slips (left) and loanable items have blue slips (right) 📕📘
My sister has gone missing! Ruby is red and gold like her egg, and normally lives in the library fidget toys basket (our hoard).
Could she please be returned home, so we can return to ruling our domain together (and providing well needed r&r for our readers)?
Thanks!

Fidget toys are now available for our readers to use! Please don't take them out of the library, and pop them back in the basket when you’re done. Go find them in the relaxation zone on the first floor!
With the latest issues of Film periodicals, the TLS and the NYRB (@nybooks.com) available (1st floor, by Multimedia Room), why not have a cheeky browse?
