My family lived in car-crazy LA after WWII. I recall the many oil pumps around us. We all thought that pumping oil out of the ground and using it to zoom all over the place in our cars was great. And here we are.

If you have access to the AARP Bulletin, I highly recommend "Where Have All the Doctors Gone?" in Jan/Feb 2025 issue. You'll learn the reasons why it's so difficult to see a doctor, mostly due to an error made in 1980 and corporate greed taking over healthcare.

During an interview with Joe Rogan, Mark Zuckerberg said the following in his praise of masculinity, "I think having a culture that celebrates the aggression a bit more has its own merits that are really positive." Probably the main reason that Harris lost the election.

I have chosen to delete my facebook account. Instead of bowing to the politicization of "DEI" by MAGA, Mark Zuckerberg should've explained the true meanings of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, why these attitudes are important, and reiterated that Meta will embrace them.
