Wow! This read-along of the NYT moment-by-moment leading to the murder of Alex Pretti should shake everyone awake. He was a Good Samaritan.

Agents fired at least ten shots in roughly five seconds. DHS and Pam Bondi claim Pretti approached them armed and intent on a “massacre.”

Congratulation to Braden Beckes on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with Scouting America! We were impressed with his project to construct a fruit stand for the Wesleyville Community Garden. Let’s give Braden and his family congratulatory wishes on this difficult achievement!

Organized Labor is part of the fabric of America, dating back to the 1700s with the craft guilds. I stand in solidarity with IAM local 1211 as they fight for a fair contract with Parker Lord. They could use your support on the Robinson Rd. with firewood and hand warmers in these frigid temperatures.

Students at Iroquois High School had the opportunity to discuss issues important to youth with Rep. Pat Harkins and me this week. These youth leaders had a lot on their minds, from student cell phone usage to youth access to vaping. Thank you to Mr. Fiorelli, Ms. Prather, Ms. Laird & the students!

How fortunate that we live in a country where we get to march. How unfortunate that we live in a country where we still need to march. May we continue the march toward a more perfect union, where Dr. King’s dream is a reality!

Supporting local businesses keeps our money circulating right here in our community! Today we ordered takeout from Cheeserie. What’s your favorite local establishment?

Pleased to share that $65,000 in state funds has been awarded to replace a police vehicle for the Wesleyville Borough Police Department

Reliable equipment matters — it keeps our officers safe and helps them respond quickly and effectively to keep our neighborhoods secure.
