Great evening with the @wilcodems.bsky.social! Thanks for letting me take questions!

Yesterday I met with activists in the Westside Dems of El Paso, helped Mrs. Tina Silva set up her 30th annual turkey giveaway, and later today I’ll be at the @wilcodems.bsky.social meeting in Round Rock. This campaign is about meeting people where they are.

I have a hunch about which one will be 1. better attended and 2. more fun.

Here's where I'll be tonight! I'm criss-crossing this state to meet as many Texans as possible. If you are in Webb, Dimmit, Zavala or Uvalde counties, I hope to see you tonight at the Crystal City Library, 101 Dimmit St.

Trump: "I just saw that Walmart came out last night that Thanksgiving this year will cost 25% less than last year ... that's emblematic of the rest of prices." (They shrunk the turkey and made the meal smaller.)

Another daily example of Texans saying, "please stop polluting our natural resources," and Greg Abbott responding with "we're going to pollute EVEN MORE" and brag about how great the economy is.

Weird! I've been told by serious people that I'm not a serious candidate because I don't have millions of dollars in donations.
Wow. Democrat Taylor Rehmet heading to a runoff with Wambsganss after getting 47.5% of the vote in a +18 Trump district. More than $4 million was spent by/in support of her two GOP opponents, with big checks from Miriam Adelson and billionaire Tim Dunn.

Rehmet spent $68,000.
In Texas 9th SD, Democrat Taylor Rehmet is leading three candidates-including Leigh Wambsganss, a well-known Christian nationalist activist who was supported by Trump, Texas GOP leaders and far-right donor Tim Dunn. The district includes Tarrant County, a +5% Trump county + bellwether for the state.

GOOD.
I'll go ahead and say it. Texas book banners got their butts kicked in tonight's school board elections. Again.

Outsiders CAN win in politics. It would be nice if the journalists in Texas would support an outsider like me.

I was the first to announce my candidacy. I am putting in the work. But the Texas Tribune refuses to include me in their gubernatorial panel at TribFest this month.

I know tonight is election night, but it's also one year from 2026's election night. Lots of work to do. If you want to get me past the primary, please sign up and donate at coleforgovernor.com.

The cows went wild and busted some fences. You know what we’ll start busting as your next TX Agriculture Commissioner? The monopolies rigging our economy

Here's what I have to say after a 10-day campaign trip across Texas to find that the Texas Tribune has decided that I don't have enough big donors to be on their panel of Democratic gubernatorial candidates at TribFest: it's bullshit.

Thanks to the Tejano Democrats for the warm welcome at your convention this weekend in San Antonio! I'm finally back home in Quitman after 10 days of campaign stops, but it was an energizing 10 days meeting folks all across Texas.
