Ah, those dreams when you think you're awake in your room, it's dark, something leans over you from behind, the mattress even dips... and then it sniffs you.
Felt distinctly female tonight. And wasn't interested. Didn't stay for long and didn't scare me as bad as some of those dreams tend to do.

...it's one of these days.
Constantly trying not to cry, but I'm at home. Alone. Cause I live alone. I could just cry, and no one would have to deal with it, yet I just.. can't.
And that's the case way too often to be healthy.

We're not yet at the point when it gets dark outside at 3 pm, but we're not far off either.
Not that the sun was ever visible these last days. But technically, the sun sets at 4:30 pm today.

I frequently get the weirdest (& cutely confused) comments by people who compare my writing style in my two AO3 works.
I'm a self-taught author. I taught myself how to tell a story & how to do so in a foreign language.
That means there's an obvious development, and yes, the beginnings are cringy.

I have high hopes of finishing the next chapter of #theNumber3 this weekend!
Though, considering it sometimes takes me months (we don't talk about that one whole year) to write a new one, maybe I should wait a bit with posting?

Props to Korea for banning school bullies from uni despite perfect grades, but you do realise there's now gonna be a Kdrama about this?
How about major bully gets rejected, loses everything, but then BAM turnaround with the help of their former victim. They become a better person & ofc find love. 🙄

The person courting actively (courtier) versus the person being courted (courtee).
My mind keeps comparing it to employer and employee, as in the spelling.
But I think I got that right.

You might've noticed that I tend to criticise patriarchal systems in my stories.
Apart from it just being ridiculous to prefer one over the other, following maternal lineage just makes more sense.
You can be sure about who gave birth to the kid. You can't always be sure about who fathered it.(1/2)

Today another wall of fog came down, but by late midday the sun had dissolved most of it, and the sky turned such a pretty blue.
I'm gonna pretend the dementors have stopped breeding now.

Went to one of the local museums for a guided tour. We were the only two participants, and I felt like I was back in uni.
It was great!
Realised I forgot more of my studies than I took away from those years 🙃
