For most of my life, Xbox wasn’t just a console — it was a feeling. Halo, Fable, Xbox Live arcades, midnight launches — those years shaped me.

But the Xbox that once felt alive doesn’t feel like it’s coming back. I finally said goodbye.

This is what's turning me off from Borderlands 4. He needs to STFU and let Gearbox handle PR. Being dismissive and telling people to “get a refund or play something else” is not the way to go. These are customers who want to play and are raising valid concerns—yet he stays passive-aggressive.
Borderlands 4 boss tells players "please get a refund from Steam if you aren't happy" as Randy Pitchford continues his very public crashout over the FPS's performance woes
"If you're not happy using the tools available to you to improve frame rate and you're not happy with the frame rate you have, you should play a different game"

@teamcherry.bsky.social I saw a demo for Silksong when I attended E3 2019. Mesmerized by what I saw, I bought Hollow Knight on my Switch that same night and instantly fell in love. Today, I'm finally playing Silksong and falling in love all over again. Just wanted to share and to say thank you.

The Switch 2 Is Fine — But Is That Enough?

My deep dive into Nintendo’s latest console, why Mario Kart World feels safe, and why I’ve been reaching for my Steam Deck more lately. It’s personal. It’s honest. Enjoy.

Delays, discomfort, and the death of wonder. My latest essay started with a frustrating flight—but it became something more.

✈️ “The Illusion of Progress” is about what we’ve lost… and how we might still build something better.

I know I'm late to the party but...I am addicted to Vampire Survivors. It's just so fun. The tributes to other games are just so wholesome, and the roguelike approach makes replaying the same level after you fail just so fulfilling. I recently got it on a Steam sale and now I've played nearly 30hrs.

E3 is a memory, yet summer gaming previews are still going strong. It's pretty wild, all these gaming announcements this past week. And while there are a couple of AAA games I'm excited for, what makes me even happier is all these new studios with indie titles coming out. Gaming is still thriving.

New post—The Price of Gaming: Here We Go Again

$70 ports. $80 “upgrades.” $90 nostalgia tax. Déjà vu.
But there’s still hope—and power—in the hands of the players.
It’s not just a rant—it’s a rally. 😎🔥

Just finished Assassin’s Creed II for the first time—what an experience. Revisiting the series from the beginning has been an absolute blast. Gorgeous music, incredible world, and still holds up very well. The first game walked so this one could run. Glad I finally played it myself.

I'm very excited to be getting a new official game in the series. It looks absolutely breathtaking as much as it looks disturbing, something Silent Hill does well. The setting and time period is quite unique as well as intriguing. I'm hoping it's a new, fresh, and memorable experience.

Just finished rewatching Season 1 of #StarTrek: The Original Series. Nearly 60 years later, it still amazes me. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, the ideas, the vision, and the hope for a better future continue to inspire. It reminds me that, despite everything, there’s still hope for humanity.
