My son just got back from our State's mock UN assembly. I'm super proud. They were 1 of 2 bills recognized by the Secretary General out of 70 total. They got to present to the entire general assembly of 1100 students AND they made history by being the first group to be sued by the security council!

The worst part about being an adult is learning who the adults you respected as a child really are and a lot of them in my world turned out to be racist bigots. How you gonna teach us to be kind as children and then show your whole ass over some immigrants?

I've seen a lot of people unprepared for the, highly discussed for days prior, snow storm out there and it makes me wonder why did you wait until 11ish inches of snow to fall before you thought about needing a snow shovel and rock salt?

So my hubby got me a "smart bird feeder" and it takes photos of the birds as they eat. I am so totally obsessed with this thing. I can't even guess how much time I've wasted just looking at these birds.

I finished my sweaters. Guys I'm so dang proud of myself. These are my first wearable things I've made beyond a scarf and not only are they pretty dang sweet but I finished them in time to give them as Christmas gifts. 🥰

So I just started a job about a month ago working in a small elementary school's cafeteria. I bought the shirt to wear the day before Thanksgiving break and could not be more excited to wear it to school. I'm a nerd but I love making the kids smile it makes my day.
