It’s complicated, and the majority of USians’ hearts are with Greenland, Europe, and Ukraine. It was complicated when Germany was seized by fascism, and ultimately the US played a part in fascism’s defeat. Coming to the aid of American democracy, at the right time, may well also benefit Europe.
