I gotta start figuring out what genre I wanna focus more on,, cuz atm I compose a variety of stuff like VGMs, EDM, sometimes jazz LOL
Cause atm I'm a little stuck with understanding how to complete songs, and I feel like if I focus rlly hard on one genre, I'll be able to piece together the patterns

I always come out of cons with a renewed sense of community, love, determination and purpose that is so motivating, you really can’t do it alone. Make sure you uplift your friends, their unique gifts & talents, check in on them, and don’t take their presence in your life for granted

You must do figure drawing YOU MUST, preferably in person with a proper lighting set up (if possible) or follow advice from an instructor online. I promise nothing will level up your skills as much as figure drawing when it comes to understanding form and light/shadow, even if you don’t draw people

I remember seeing a tweet a few years that said something like "Be your OC's biggest fan". Draw them as much as you want, regardless of how much engagement they get and eventually you will get a following that goes to your account for your characters. That is advice I'm trying to follow more now.
Draw more original stuff. Fanart is fine and dandy, but if it’s all you ever draw, you’ll be beholden to an established style rather than developing your own.
