He figured, hey... if we find a world water rich we gonna need something to go in, make the suit waterproof.
As for the armor in full.

Oh good. She thought with the small holes in his armor it would possibly flood the inside causing it to short circuit. Blink. Really nice to know it didn't fry him because of water and electricity mixing ...that would make for the most ridiculous bug zapper. A shift of slightly relaxing that he was
