I love it when an actor is so totally the character they are playing. You just see that character, you feel what they feel and they hold everything about that character within their body and voice. I admire the skill of an actor who can do that so naturally.

I adore 'What a Carve Up!' A 1961 British comedy horror film directed by Pat Jackson. With Esma Cannon amongst many famous faces. I really must watch it again soon.

The Long Neolithic is continuity with our fundamental nature. To step into a stone circles is to know we are pattern makers, season markers. It is a knowing we have always looked to sky, always had our rituals and mysteries of death. We are lithic. – Dr. K. Brophy #StandingStoneSunday

I took this photo through a window at Media City, so it reflects back. It looks like the tardis is dematerialising.

I was in a play reading with ‘The Hope Mill Theatre’ a few years back. The play was ‘The Crucible’ by Arthur Miller and it left such an impression. It was such a great experience to take part and it’s really quite a powerful story.

I first saw Michael Sheen in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ In 1992 at The Royal Exchange Theatre. It’s brilliant to have seen him act live there, and to see him doing so brilliantly now, makes me beam. He’s an amazing actor.

“The idea behind a kaleidoscope is that it's a structure that's filled with broken bits and pieces, and somehow if you can look through them, you still see something beautiful. And I feel like we are all that way a little bit.”

I always loved Book shops. They are magical places, full of hidden adventures, just waiting to take us to places we never dreamed we would go to.

I really loved Teddy Edward and Jasmine when I was little. I still have the 1974 Annual and my tiny Jasmine cuddly toy is now threadbare, but much loved.

I loved ‘The Ghosts of Oxford Street’ 1991 TV special. It was atmospheric and there were some great songs including ‘Magic’s Back’ by Alison Limerick. It included Tom Jones, Sinéad O'Connor, Shaun Ryder and documented the history of Oxford Street, narrated by Malcolm McClaren.
